Data Analysis
Data that is available & collected data analysts->Create Data Visuals -> Analyse & Interpret Data -> Track KPIs -> Reports data patterns found -> Uses data to optimize conversion.
Data Engineer
All the data that is available from running a campaign, a data Engineer ->Collectes Data -> Analyse & Interpret Data -> Cleanse Data for current needs -> Store data for future needs.
Finance
As the name suggests everything that needs to be calculated in terms of Monetary benefits & disadvantages.
From -Budgeting, Cost & Expense control, Client billing & invoicing, Financial Planning & Forecasting of the Company’s financial health.
Designer
Designers help complete the product that will be presented for the end consumption: Ads, SMO posts, Website look etc.
Content Writer
They will write the script for the ads, blogs or websites.
Developer
Developers will develop a website, as per client requirements and the strategy planned.
Now, the roles stated above may differ from organisation to organisation.
E.g., An individual running an agency might do all the tasks mentioned above. At the same time, an organisation with 1000’s employees will have specialists for each aspect of digital marketing: SEO, SEM, SMO, SMM, etc.
